Why is Based migrating
As the landscape has evolved, we’ve assessed our position and concluded that pivoting toward a new project was the best step forward. This decision will allow us to focus our energy on building something more sustainable, impactful with a perfect product market fit: Vibe Trading.
Key Dates & Next Steps
Closure Timeline
• Tuesday, January 14th, 2025: Based Markets will stop accepting new trades and positions. No new activity will be allowed on the platform from this date forward.
• February 14th, 2025: Based Markets will fully shut down. All remaining open positions must be closed manually before this date.
Withdrawal Process
• If you have funds on the platform, you will need to request withdrawals via our support process.
• Open a support ticket to receive a private link, where you can access your funds.
Staking
• With no new trades or profits generated, all users are encouraged to withdraw any staked funds as soon as possible.
Transition to Vibe Trading
• Snapshot Taken: A snapshot of $BASED token holders has already been completed some time ago.
• Airdrop Amounts: $BASED holders will receive an equivalent dollar value in $VIBE tokens.
• Claim Process: You will be able to claim your $VIBE allocation within the app after the Token Generation Event (TGE).
